Final smoke, wrongly connected?

Hello, first I want to say I am by no means a professional nor do I have very good knowledge of the matter. I have already had a few systems in the car, but never this problem before. I had a different one before the current power stage, there everything worked quite normal, however with the new power stage the problem occurred. So I installed the following: Power stage: Signat ODC5000 Limited Edition Subwoofer: Rodek RN212 The whole thing is connected as follows: I grab the audiosi gnal off by means of high-low adapter. Of which the Cinch cable into the amplifier. Plus comes from the battery that sits in the spare wheel socket in the cable is a 60 ampere fuse in it. Mass also comes directly from battery. Remotely I connect from 12-volt cigarette lighter (so on-board power socket) in the trunk. Since the subwoofer consists of almost 2 subwoofers, it also has 2 connectors (left sub 2 and right sub 2). I have combined both subs on one channel (so both plus too) So I did it with my old amplifier and it always went well for about 1.5 years. Now at the new power amplifier I closed it so snn and it ran good 1 day however when I once rather turned up louder it smelled like something burned up, then stopped and opened the trunk and it rushed sideways from the vent of the power stage. I then put out all the cables and saw that my mass cable was a little blacker r was. Was that a problem with the mass? Or did I generally do something wrong with the wiring? The cables are not the thickest now, could it also be that I have too little cross-section on the cables? I know I’m not a professional, please try to explain my mistakes instead of just writing that I have no idea. Thank you!
