Moin, moin. Since the latest, my Punto Sporting, year 7/04, gives knarr noises from the rear axle of itself. These are at slower driving, e.g. speed 30 zone, also audible. Of course only when the radio is not on I can understand the noises also in the stand. So if I park, open the tailgate and then load the trunk floor, e.g. with the weight of my upper body, and at the same time slightly wiggle, the noises also occur. Handbrake is not attracted, by the way, only fal. If someone should come up with the idea. If I load the front axle in the same way, i.e. bonnet on and then slightly wiggle with weight of upper body, it doesn’t creak, therefore I also know 100% that it comes from behind. But unfortunately I can’t say whether right, left or both sides. I guess also to know the causer, an acquaintance said that it is the feathers from the dampers that creak on the spring plates. That could be eliminated with a little bit of fat. actual question: What do you think about it? Could it actually be the feathers? Does fat help? or is there something defect? Still I have a guarantee. Just wanted to hear your opinions first. Thank you very much for greeting Surfkiller20
