Half OT: subjective perception of performance

Hello, on Monday it was unfortunately the time: around 17.00 my wife called me and told me that someone thought that they could drive through them. Of course this is not possible and so a nice tail damage arose on our 5s and at the approaching tdi (grumble…..) a very nice front damage. Luckily nothing serious happened to her, apart from HWS syndrome. Now she is allowed to wear a cuff. Hopefully nothing remains…. I was then steamed by the customer and we got still in the evening a replacement vehicle: BMW X3, 3.0i. Hello you think: 258 contra 193 hp! the thing has to flick like a rocket!!!! To make it short: under 3000 rpm the petroler is for someone like me (I had to drive the car home, my wife took the VOLVO) who is only used to turbo diesels, dead. Absolutely dead. Acceleration I don’t really want to call that. From 3-4500 something comes into the car, it gets faster from 5000 rpm. Certainly the car is in all The most important tests are faster than the Touring 5, but objectively it is exactly the other way around. Even my wife complains about the car, what a lame part it is…. And it consumes at least 11 liters. So slowly I can understand the frustration of Bildchef…… What does that tell me now wideer? man is and remains a subjective being. I prefer not to say anything about the other qualities of the X3. On the side of the chassis, however, it is an imposition, such a hoop truck on the human being. ulasen. But sporty, yes that’s him (as SUV???) Jürgen
