Since yesterday, I am proud owner of a day registration Lancia Y Cosmopolitan (EZ 10/2003, 0 km). Engine: 1.2 8V with 60 hp. Now the question arises: How do I drive it perfectly in order to have as long fun as possible on the Y? – Rather highway, country road or city? Rather constant speed/speed or changeable? – How many km do I have to drive it in? – Any speed upper limits during this period? – When first oil change? And what oil should I put in? I would like to take a fully synthetic one. The seller said that I had to make a change only at 20 tkm, but that seems too late to me (especially because on the first few tkm of a new engine especially a lot of abrasion arises). – Is the 1.2 8 V actually a FIRE engine? How is the engine overall regarding life, reliability, full-gas strength? – What else do I have to keep in mind?
