In the evening, I got our little one back from K&W, in which, as in our first Mini, a K&W winch suspension V2 was installed. because our works is a convertible, for which there was not yet an FW of K&W (R57) a K&W V2 from the R56 was adapted to the cabrio because it is compared to the tin roof Mini rear wg. the cover mechanism, overhanger etc. is significantly heavier and therefore needs stronger springs at the rear. K&W will soon offer this FW for the new cabrio. ied is ENORM – lower position about 30 mm and thus in the upper range (goes a lot deeper for those who are more important to optics than driving behaviour). the small looks no longer as high legged and drives around CLASSES better than with the series FW. it has become clearly KOMFORTABLER because it springs and does not jump! no more hobbled, polter and stuckere on worse autobahnen, no more fear in fast autobahn curves, stable when braking together, significantly less twisting the a ntriebsräder thanks to a noticeably better attraction, with which you now get a lot more jagged out of the curves and through. rich, safe driving feeling. buttomline – an enormous increase from the driving fun, comfort and safety. a mini with series FW and runflat tire makes ambitiously driven by far not so much fun and is pearls thrown before the sucker. I would do it again and again – but that was clear from the good experiences with the predecessor already when buying the car that again a K&W is installed.
