Hi, I need a few product recommendations. I want to prepare my car after it has been neglected for the last few years. The paint (18 years Opel carbon black 07L) has a slight grey veil that I want to get rid of, and what bothers me most, the horizontal surfaces, roof, bonnet, trunk lid, feel extremely rough. You can hear that even when you brush it with your hand. In the hood are also a few water stains. I have already used it before. t Nigrin tried paint cleaner, but it had almost zero effect, even after several polishings did not even go completely away the water stains. I tried to take photos, but on photos the grey veil always sinks in the reflections. At the neon tube you can guess something. The rough feeling can not really be packed into pictures. The many bright points are only dust from the previous polish passage, which was again with the naked eye not to be seen. I have a Rotating polishing machine with 180 plates. Can you recommend a suitable polish to me? I read again and again that it would be good to go over it with dough before. But does it make sense to buy extra dough, or can you get it in a passage with the right polish? (When I had the last time a car polished there was not yet such a thing as dough. ) It would be really helpful if you could recommend me concrete products. n tossed the head like: “The things of 3M/Meguiars/Petzoldt are good” Only unfortunately this info does not bring me much if these manufacturers have felt 50 different polishes in offer, which at least for lay understanding all carry the same product description. Thank you and greeting, Frack
