Hello, I’ve had a Fiat Uno, 1988 for about half a year. The car has been driving very well so far, I have now also got it again via the TÜV (crossbars and brakes have been made), but now the car is causing big problems. If I had known that before, I might have scrapped it rather, but since I have already invested 500 euros incl. TÜV/AU, I would not like to do this now. The car is running out of gas all the time. and relatively high speed he drives without any problems, i.e. highway rides are no problem at all, but otherwise he only drives still rucking and goes out immediately when I step the clutch. In the workshop it was said that the throttle valve potentiometer has to be replaced, but the part would be at the moment difficult to procure and expensive … In addition, yesterday at the tank filler the pipe dissolved, then dirt poured down. That would then have to be welded (??). that the problems also come from impurities in the tank? By the way, the petrol filter has only just been changed. I don’t know any more if the repairs will not be a barrel without a floor, I don’t really have any money left for it anymore as a student, I just put a lot of money in it. I would be happy about serious tips, advice. Maybe someone also has an idea where I can get such a used throttle valve potentiometer.
