Question(s) on bolt quality

Unfortunately I didn’t have a plan where it fits in. So I had a Supersprint fan installed. 2 A2 – 70 M10 screws were supplied with. Thread goes up to the head, length 60mm. Since I had to disassemble everything again unfortunately, there was a screw over the mountain. The thread of the screw is flat. In the thread passage was already rusty, think that the plate is not made of stainless steel. Unfortunately no stainless steel screws are at home. I have now taken M10 screws cut off 10mm since I only had 70mm length, and these are installed. But are normal 8.8 screws, thread only goes up to half about. So my question now is the 8.8 screw strong enough? I only found the A2 in the net is the material and 70 the hardness of the screw, is a standart stainless steel screw. Have no desire to disassemble all this again. What the net has told me is the 70 = 700n/mm2 minimum pulling force with the screw and an 8.8 has 800n/mm2 but what does it look like with heat etc. according to net are stainless steel screws normal screws that have a coating? please help. many thanks already
