Hello, we are thinking about getting a new Fiat Panda, since our 9 year old Seicento Sporting was the last time a lot in the workshop. Only new tank (two years ago), last year new cylinder head seal and ignition cable, because the Seicento has always had such small dropouts since last year, where it then no longer pulls properly (in winter it was almost gone). In between again and again smaller repairs. In April he was driven over the TÜV with the recommendation, exhaust is We had this done in May. Well, only a month later, he doesn’t drive up the underground parking hill (my husband thinks, probably the clutch), but he has driven up other mountains perfectly. However, it rattles again under the car, similar to how the exhaust was broken and he has more dropouts again, where he doesn’t pull properly for a few seconds. Furthermore, he drives more restless again. The mileage is at 79,000 We had now decided to take advantage of the scrapping premium and buy a new panda. However, it hurts me to have our seicento scrapped, because it doesn’t even have 80,000 km on it and is also a very nice car. What is your experience? Does the seicento really make a drop at 80,000 km? Is a repair still worth it? We have concerns that there will soon be the next problem, especially since the seicento has had this drop since last year, where e r for a few seconds does not accept gas or accelerate if you step on the gas and the workshop could not find the error. What would you do? Use scrapping premium? According to Fiat dealer we could get for the Seicento a maximum of 2600,- EUR, so we can also claim the scrapping premium, especially since the Seicento is currently mucking and who buys a broken car. I would like to hear your opinion on the problem. Thank you for your answers. Greetings Judith
