Swift mildhybrid All-wheel behavior downhill on snow

We had an accident with an SX4 4×4 when we came into the slide during downhill in the middle mountain range and then the car was not steered anymore. We had set the 4×4 drive on automatic. As a replacement we want to have a quite small all-wheeler who brings us up again without having to put on chains. Therefore we consider the new Swift 1.2i Dual Jet mildhybrid. Has already had experience with the all-wheeler variant on the road while sliding off f Snow? Or does anyone know what happens when the front wheels slide downhill while braking? In particular what does this mean for the steering of the vehicle? Do the rear wheels start pushing the car even if – in the worst case – the front wheels are standing across or the car is no longer steerable when you start to give gas? Wouldn’t it be better in this situation if the whole force remained with the front wheels to get the car steerable again?
