Hello TT-ler As we are well known to drive a very nice car with which we are all (mostly) very satisfied, I wanted to open this thread here. Because to a nice car belong also beautiful roads. Since I live in South Tyrol, I notice that very many people from the regions north of the Alps, every year our pass and mountain roads line. According to a local proverb, the south starts at the Brenner and this assessment I can share. I have already with others n users of this forum were entertained in advance and asked to list some of the most beautiful mountain roads south of the Alps to Lake Garda (which is a very eloquent holiday place and I think should be known to everyone), which are familiar to me in a thread! Since surely many of you often drive to South Tyrol and also to Lake Garda, I wanted to list some beautiful roads that are in my view very “driving”. So if for his journey to the south a few The goal of this thread would of course be to organize a meeting in May/June 2010 with a beautiful Alpine tour to Lake Garda. I think if you take 2-3 days to do so, it really pays off, because the roads here are really one of the most beautiful in Central Europe. I start with a first route the first one with the I have picked out some pictures and a route plan (hope the funzt with the google maps as I like). I hope that you will also get your impressions and already used roads here, so we can perhaps put together a nice route and a great meeting! The first route I present here in the forum, leads from Sterzing (city 15min from Brenner) to Corvara via the Grödnerjoch, to Castelrotto, over the Niger Pass and through the Eggental to Bolzano I hope that we are able to put together a small TT meeting, because your meetings always take place at least 350km and several mountain crossings away from me.Otherwise I offer here simply the opportunity to present and get to know beautiful roads in South Tyrol and surroundings.
