Moin, first of all: I am only a computer scientist and in terms of cars I am an absolute newcomer. I am happy if I know where I am filling liquids myself and how to change the wheels. For a few days, the light for the front disc brakes has been lit up. However, it does not always light up when braking. I have to drive the car warm, until when braking (only) from time to time (!) this light lights up. I have also experienced that the light flickers(!), when ic h don’t step on the brake at all. This comes, for example, when I have to speed through a sharp curve behind a crossing after turning in. When I arrive at the finish and then step on the brake or pull and release the hand brake several times in a row, the light only lights up once in a while. Do I have to “just” change the brake discs or can this be something else? I have used the car at the Citroen dealer since the end of June 2004 and have been driving about 28000km since then and b in now at approx. 106000km. I am trying to move the car only to the most necessary until I have solved the problem. Luckily I have carpooling with my neighbor.
