Last week I heard and ran a rattle in the area of the Kardan tunnel. When I was under the Volvo, I had to find out that the cardan shaft has quite a lot of play. Unfortunately, the rubber in the cardan shaft joint is torn. It wouldn’t really matter to drive my AWD as an FWD. However, the driving toe control is on and of course it doesn’t work without cardan shaft. Does anyone have a suggestion how to fix the rubber again so that the e Kardanwelle again quietly turns? Thank you for suggestions. Repair would cost about 600 euros.
