D5252T 2.5 TDI AEL – rough running, vibrations, nailing

Hello, a question to all Volvo and/or especially diesel experts :=) I own a V70 98 2.5 TDI with currently a good 380,000 km, the car is first hand, constantly checkbook maintained, stands there optically like a 5 year old and drives almost like this :=) However, the good elk has been falling for a few weeks due to a rather rough engine run, feel – and audible vibrations and a rich nailing. These symptoms were not there at once, I would say it has deteriorated after, so I didn’t notice it at first. Bzw. with the high mileage and the age I thought, “that must be so” – besides, I can’t draw any comparisons, how other 2.5 TDI AEL listens to this mileage. Yesterday the car was in the workshop with a friendly car master, also he noticed the rough run and the vibrations immediately and he said it doesn’t sound healthy at all, and an AEL with the mileage usually doesn’t sound like that. The fact is, the engine always starts perfectly, ignites immediately, has power, a brand new turbocharger, always fresh oil and a new Vaku pump. With cold engine the rough run, the vibrations etc. is stronger, if it is really warm, it becomes a bit less. I use the car daily, drive a lot of long distance (max. 120-130 km/h) and actually intended to drive it up to 500,000 KM – thought with the 2.5 TDI this should not be a problem. Do you have any tips or experiences on how to best proceed?
