Hello, Recently we had to find out that after about 2 days of standstill the battery was completely empty. At first we thought of a damaged battery and switched it off. Unfortunately this was not the reason. Now we measured times and see there, in the standstill and all doors to flow a current of about 2A. If one pulls the fuses 6 and 15 then the current drops to 0A. For us, therefore, the offender was to be found in the circuit central locking and/or interior lighting. Searching in this area led us to the door lock of the driver’s side. If you separate the wire harness of the left door, then the error current immediately drops to 0A. Next we removed the door lock. We wanted to see if you can find an electrical error here. And here we are stuck. The lock is equipped with a plastic hood. This would have to be dismantled in order to get to the electrics. That’s what we fail to do. How can you get this hood off? The second way would be to install a new (used) lock. If we do, do the old keys still fit? or can you adjust the new lock to the old keys? For every help we are grateful. With kind greeting
