Hello, I’m new here and hope I get help here! My name is Christine and I recently bought a Ford Escort Convertible BJ 91! I now have the problem that my window lifter – driver side – doesn’t go up and makes loud knatter noises! Now I’ve been looking for a used one for a long time,because new ones are so expensive! Now my question, can I also install the universals that exist at E-Bay or does it have to be one of Ford’s? Maybe someone also has one lying around and selling it to me 🙂 Thank you for the answers!
