Hello guys, I’m not actually a Ford driver, but my girlfriend has one, and I don’t want to leave her in the (ordinary) rain with her problem: At some point the window lifter switch on the driver’s side only sporadically started his service. Not much later he failed completely. (Preferred then, when the disc was down – Murphy sends nice greetings ) After you also got the jacket closer than the pants, we switched the left and right switch, and it was quiet for a few months. Then the switched switch also went over the Jordan. Then I got an original new switch, which, however, also lasted only a few months… (Grob estimated: 300-500 switching processes) Now my question: Are these switches a latent problem, or is the reason for it somewhere else? (Have read pretty creepy reports about the central electrics…) Can it be, for example, that there is something else defective that is due to d the switches produce extreme demolition sparks, which will ruin them in the long run?? The switches are traded on the Internet, as otherwise what! Therefore, this problem does not seem to be soo rare… Does someone know something more specific about this problem? In the search I could unfortunately only find solutions that would help rather only temporarily… (change switch left for right, get switches from the bay etc.). But why do they fail so quickly??
