Hello S-Class driver, I have been driving a SL500 1999 R129 for almost 5 months. I am very interested in an S-Class. But now I have 2 to choose from, which I don’t know which one to take… 1. C140 600CL V12 Well, I’m a 90s build year and it’s always been my childhood dream of the C140 and the r129… From construction year 1995 so mopf c140 Which shit does the c140 so? so what often breaks down..how are the spare parts prices at the moment? I often read about the consumption of 25L how much is m Achievable with normal driving mode? is 15L feasible? 2. C215 600CL V12 rather Mopf or pre-mopf? 367ps vs. 500ps? What kind of diseases does this vehicle often break? how are the spare parts prices? from the consumption how much does it swallow so probably less than the C140 since new engine…is 14L realistic? my 500 306ps ’99 I have always driven with about 13L and for once it was pressed and 20L were now and then no problem…. How is the Comand from 1999 in contrast to the Mopf 200 6? How is the consumption difference between 500ps v12 and premopf 367ps v12? eig. i would grab the c216 but that is still expensive at the moment so I can not afford it at the moment – unfortunately. i tend very strongly to the C140 because it is simply the best S-class (my opinion) which has ever been built… i know that a 600 is not a fuel saver but i find once in life one should confuse his dreams What appeals to me is eig. only to the CL 600 C215 that it has a comand…. there are also many C140 with TV etc…. which is of course very rare and if there is one then over 25.000Euro…and for over 25.000Euro I would rather do bitsl and grab right at the sl600 that was until now.
