Servus Gemeinde After I was allowed to pick up my new bell yesterday, I had to find out unfortunately that Volvo once again saved everywhere.The trunk floor was previously held in the upper position by means of gas pressure dampers and the second level below could be hung on the upper trunk gasket by means of a fabric band (for example, to be able to remove the emergency wheel).The gas pressure damper is gone – the floor can only enter by means of the fabric tape above The second floor below can no longer be fixed (i.e. when removing the emergency wheel you have to do this with one hand ….. Thank you, Volvo!). Furthermore, the lumbar vertebrae support – which is only included in the electric seat adjustment. Also saved – and that is the real reason of this post – was the loading edge protection. Since I had a dark plastic strip at the rear before is only normal paint – very vulnerable f for scratches when loading and unloading (see pictures). Now the question: Does anyone have experience with protective films as protection? Who can be recommended?
