Here is a short report on the problem of oil sludge: 2 years ago a clogged oil sieve was found at about 60,000 km. Until then new oil every 20,000 km. So clean oil pan, clean oil sieves and complete control chain, since already worn out. From there oil always new every 10,000 km. Mobile 1 !!No short distances, no full-gas drivers (max. 160 km/h) Driving performance per year: 40,000 km, i.e. 4x oil per year !! Now at 140,000 km: oil sieves too, oil tank full with oil coke !!!!!! m motor damage over. Will say: Don’t be sure that even with 10,000 oil changes, no short-distance rides and no full-speed tours this problem does not reappear.
