Hello Fiat Forum. I’m new here and have a few questions. With a little delay I’ve recently made my driver’s license and I’m lucky that a Fiat Panda Selecta is given to me. The car belonged to my foster father’s mother (my grandmother) and has not been moved for almost a year since she died recently. It’s a silver Fiat Panda 1.1 Selecta from 5/1992 with just 46000km and in a very good condition. No rust as far as you can see. Tires are almost flat and he didn’t jump at once either. But he finally jumped on and ran acoustically rather inconspicuously. Although the car is registered by my foster father, I will take care of all other costs. I would also like to keep the car, as it has grown to my heart. I guess I can’t drive more than 7000km anyway with the one in a year and would use it only a few years. Well, since there are no real cars with us and I can only have theoretical knowledge/interest, I don’t really know how to do it properly. Pump up wheels, tow and then check in a workshop with oil change, spark plugs etc.? The car was always in a garage in dry and artisanal clumsy I am not either. What could you do so yourself to get the fit again? I hope around the middle of May I am finished with my driver’s license and would then use it immediately w even more important for me, however, is what I have to consider about the car. I know that a panda needs more inclination than a Japanese, for example, but I would also like to know typical weak points of the panda. And another problem: the car has no audio system installed at all. No radio, no boxes and cables I have not seen anywhere. How best to proceed there? A proper, cheap radio and reasonable boxes would do it already. Thanks already. for help posts and tips. Elias
