Hello dear forum members After weeks of workshop stay I got my vehicle again today because radio/clock/pdc/ton failed again and again and the workshop after a complete disassembly of the vehicle came to the decision that my combi instrument might be defective (they tried to repair but don’t get the software because it doesn’t exist here) and therefore all this runs sporadically only if the big desire has therefore I will now try to get another instrument ….part number “K” at the end maybe you also got me a tip To the actual problem, full of anticipation to be allowed to drive my car again I got rid of and no 2std later the following happened : with very low speed I wanted to turn the steering wheel in and exactly in the curve there was a bang the steering was blocked and a “clap” in the engine compartment appeared and also battery errors in the instrument cluster the place where I am currently there is unfortunately not a single competent workshop and also the official VW workshop do not want to repair the car in general because here never a Phaeton was sold and the vehicle is not listed here and no master for it would exist… therefore there is a week-long search and associated extreme costs for every little thing, but maybe you can give me a tip and this time it is a little easier vehicle: VW Phaeton 3.0 TDI – 171kw / bj. 2008 Many thanks in advance and best regards Chaky
