What’s going on in Switzerland? Yesterday in the Lörracher Sonntagszeitung there was an unsightly article about the “Young Greens” in Basel and their actions against SUVs. In BS and ZH stickers are glued on the varnish of SUVs and even used footsteps against offroaders. (100000 pcs are ordered) Reasons: 1. high fuel consumption, allegedly 3x as much as a small car (as example was called the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (66l/100km) 2. CO2 fabric >250 g/km 3. pedestrian unfriendly In the event of accidents, a referendum is sought to introduce a special tax right up to the ban. The German Greens already include this. What is the point of this nonsense? Have the Swiss Greens not informed themselves about the XC90? the 250g CO2/km stops the D5. My Xc90 consumes less than a VW bus. Since I live in LÖ and regularly drive to BS and ZH, I am now seriously thinking about using the second car (which, by the way, has the same CO2 emissions h at, like my XC90.) Someone can’t even enlighten the Greens….
