Moin together With my V50 2.4i (B5244S4) the engine control lights up for the first time in 17 years And it started yesterday out of the blue… I drove to Burger King last night and ate something in the car there. He was completely fine away. I wanted to go again and suddenly he jumped totally badly. Somehow it seemed to me as if he wasn’t running on all cylinders. The speed wigged between 200 and 800 rpm until he went out. The next start was gen Only the third time he ran reasonably. On the way I had to take away a jerking at the gas again and again as if the engine was off… Sometimes he choked at the traffic light then step off at the clutch. When entering the gas there was sometimes no power. Engine control was however still off… Only when I stopped at the gas station, turned off the engine and after 20 seconds started again I had the MKL active. Always on the way with a China OBD adapter for emergencies. This showed P0089 and P0193 According to the Internet, this has something to do with the fuel pressure. Later I will read out with Vida once I switched the fuel pump 500km ago. The old made howling noises. The new works and it seemed to me as if the V50 has been running better since the new fuel pump. But now this mistake suddenly… To replace the fuel pump I had to pull the fuse from the fuel pump relay F74, the engine running Can it be possible that there is still air in the system somewhere? Maybe in the rail? Or did it kill the fuel pressure sensor? Someone an idea? Greeting, René
