Hello everyone, I’m new to this SL forum, and I don’t know much about the R129. My father would like to get one now, and I wondered if there is a list of the heavy maengels in the forum, or a kind of checklist, with typical weak spots of the model, which should be examined. The target is a 500 SL from 1992, with about 130tkm, first possession. Thanks to everyone! I would have had a special question. Is it normal that you can help a bit when closing the deck? Is it normal that after 130tkm the seats (leathers) are already quite sitting through, and the left side of the seat is quite distasteful? Or could this be an indication of a tachodriver?
