Good day, I’m about to choose which summer tyres I’m going to buy for the first time. (The old ones are too awesome). Now I’ve made a little smart, and I’ve come across, for example, an ADAC test with corresponding sizes, which is also relatively up-to-date. But there is the Michelin PilotSport 3 and not the current 4s. Also from Continental there is PremiumContact 6. I wonder which more suitable is ? PremiumContact 6 or ContiSport 5 ? As a rule, I can do more than that, because more is going to be taken to the limits when driving sports. However, I read that Continental wears off very quickly. Others are too loud, or the steering wheel starts to shake at a certain speed. It seems to me that it is a huge science made of it. I also read the PilotSport 4 thread, and the experiences are quite different, because it also depends heavily on the driving mode. I am personally someone who drives so 60% city and 40% highway/road. I personally drive a BMW E90 (3er) with a R6 engine. So I find these “tire discussions” here have taken a similar extent as the discussions about “premium fuel” or “premium oils, viscosity etc.”, there is simply no factual question about the tires. Conclusion. I would be very grateful to you for a few answers Brands are by the way almost no matter, but the tire should logically be able to do everything as well as possible.
