Hello guys, I’m new to the forum and I’ve been driving a V70 D5 Premium from 2002 with currently about 180,000 km. When I bought the car with just under 150,000 km, I thought I’d get a solid durable vehicle. Unfortunately, our marriage is now a bit broken. Although after 160,000 km the corresponding maintenance took place and the timing belt was changed with everything else Grieskrams, I (probably) jumped the tensioning roller off the belt (probably due to bearing damage), the skin has and the holder of the tensioning roller of the timing belt is cut off (Fact). And that when starting from the garage entrance (not on the highway). On the enclosed picture material you can see the breakpoint and the book pieces. What do you think, you can weld the broken parts again or install them differently? Otherwise I would have to buy an AT-motor, but where (outside ebay)? The dealers around my place of residence have all shaken the head when I s he asked about an AT-engine. It would be almost only about Volvo itself from about 5 TEuronen, which makes a repair of my good piece uneconomical…. Thank you for your help. Greetings Gunnar2002
