Hi. Currently we drive an Avensis 2007 177hp. Undoubtedly we had no major problems with the car up to now (192,000km), also not with the DPF. Since the beginning of the year I diverted the AGR valve, otherwise always so 1 times a year clean. Defects so far, except wear parts: 1 defective pump for disc washing system 2 rubber on the rod replaces 1 rubber on the rear brake piston. I could do all this myself, so more or less pillepalle. The car w 23km a day, with approx.6km of motorway.Otherwise on holiday or even weekend trips.Duration from August 2016 – August 2017 21.000km. But now something new should come, the LED light, the DAB+ radio and all the technical helpers of the new Avensis are very attractive. The next bigger Toyota dealer gets more often vehicles, mostly diesel with running power between 20,000 – 30,000km. In spite of the diesel confusion at the moment, it would probably be the better choice, also because of the mileage in the year and the torque. We are no longer a racer, from the age we are out, and on the train with the bikes at the rear we do not race so fast, so 160km/h is enough for us.Long text, short meaning: Is the 1.6 out, or rather the 2.0 out? Are there already theatres with the vehicles, or is the reliability exactly like with the “old” models?
