Hello together, I bought a SLK 200 R170 Bj. 1998 (136hp) with 135tsd. Km for 4,000€ from a dealer. My landlord is himself a 2-fold car dealer and since I have a very good wire to him and he knows my SLK dealer, he offered me to call this time and ask before buying to the SLK “from dealer to dealer you tell yourself more.” My landlord then told me roughly that the dealer is very trustworthy, it would be in the cooling system a e line was replaced, but this was done (my choice of words). So it was happy and proud to become the owner of a SLK convertible. However, when I collected it, I was surprised that the cooling water lamp was on, that the dealer helped, he said, that this could be at first, dropped 1l in and the lamp was off. 1 week later I drove to my brother to Cologne (Solingen –> Cologne about 30km), just arrived in Cologne again the KW lamp went on before I returned to Solingen, ki I picked up 1,5l water after…lamp out again…in SG she went on again – again 1,5l after tilted (lamp out again)…in the next week I drove little, then now on the WE to Wuppertal and there the lamp went on again, at a tankst. stopped I tried again to tilt water (in a warm condition) but somehow I had problems, because I saw how it appeared 15cm under the filler nozzle and collected on the floor plate, not everything, but around the he half of 1,5 l…..the lamp did not go out, the temperature was no longer at max. 80°….in SG I tilted 1.5 l in cold condition again, the lamp remained on….(current status – will fall again this afternoon). My dealer agreed that he was currently in quarantine, I may come by next Friday, then he would take care of the case… but I would be interested in your opinion before that, it was now about 5 l and after ” “I don’t think it’s done.” Lg Frank
