Hello, we are looking for a successor for our 2002 Bj. 2002 S203-CDI Kombi. Diesel drive is probably not the right thing anymore due to the now short driving distances. The C-Class would also be the standard for the new car from the equipment/comfort/place/robustness. We bought the car 7 years ago for 8,800€ and also the 7 years up to wear parts and a little rust at the Knz.Mulde rest. Criteria: – Budget: preferably less than 10,000€ if it is really worth it, would also be a fin – Durable, I would have liked to have at least 5-6 years of rest – maintenance-friendly i.e. wear parts should be changed by someone who is not clumsy when screwing problemlessly. – Comfortable, climate as well as high occupants safety (fg. children) are a must. – A bit smooth it could already be, 125-250hp , Top would also be an automatic transmission – We do not drive as much anymore, about 7-8.000km per year 70/30 city/long distance (working distance 10km to/ 10km back) – That’s why I thought that a petrol would be more useful than our old diesel. – Style and design is relatively important to me, I want to feel good if I sit in the car and if I should get out of the car, I also like it. My taste: FOLD MIR: C-Class,E-Class, Volvo (V-Series),Honda Accord possibly Saab, possibly Skoda Superb, possibly Subaru Legacy DOES NOT FOLD ME: Dacia,Fiat… It’s best to have everything under 130,000km on the clock. The big question: I’m currently swinging back and forth. ..what can you buy, what should you do?… A) A Mercedes C-Class from year 2006 e.g. E230 or higher than V6, you have a lot of comfort, consumption higher than before, but what should you drive now also less and you stay with the usual brand. Unfortunately all affordable models fall under the sprocket problem, I don’t want to risk that. Or rather a normal C-Class without V6?…How do the small petrol engines do themselves with my mileage/short distances? B) A Vol vo V60 from BJ. 2010 or a C-Class (W204/Mopf) from year of construction 2011 and automatic transmission? Then the budget would probably be really exhausted and the next 3-4 years really shouldn’t come big at repairs. – The hope would be here, that I should probably have more than my desired 5-6 years rest. C) Continue driving the current car, wait until you find “DAS” dream car? But take the risk that the car will die through the relatively low mileage ? In the end, the question of quality is actually the price and what would be the most meaningful at the moment. Keep my old one from 2002, or a change to a slightly younger petroler maybe something even more recent >BJ 2010 for this looking price quite high? We need a family carriage and that should run, be sure, offer some comfort and not eat our hair off the head through many repairs. What do you think? Do you have any tips or model recommendations that I sometimes recommend? with should have on the screen? Thanks and VG, _sambalatsche_
