Hello, in itself I have for a long time been happy owner of a V70, 2.4D with 175hp and 205tkm. However, the following phenomenon appeared on the weekend. He lost quite coolant on the highway and I had to refill about 1L on a distance of 450km. After arriving at the hotel there was a large puddle under the vehicle, but no further loss on the container, which I had refilled 5km before a last time. The next day I drove 6km to work, After work I went directly to the Volvo repair shop, which gave pressure on the cooling liquid tank. -The water dripped very neatly… -the first guess was now, the seal on the AGR or any break there. – must be repaired of course. – Today the call came then: probably cylinder head seal. He himself drove the car again warm, but it was now tight and there was no further loss fixed. So, now a friend who works in the engine development… he said: CO indicators can also react with the cooling liquid or with the frost protection contained in it… I also called the former seller (car dealership 250km away)… he gave me the tip to check the cooling system in the cold state, whether pressure is present after 500m…-will I do tomorrow. can be done. give a tip to anyone? the friendly workshop wants to take off the cylinder head, which I am not yet quite convinced of. thank you for tips and good advice… Greetings ACJan
