hello to all. at my recently bought tt bj.99 it has shot a cylinder. I have been able to learn that at audi there was a serial complaint (180ps-models) regarding a factory incorrectly installed air mass meter, which, although known to lead to motor damage, did not lead to a recall action, as probably the publicity was feared. the defective air mass meters should be exchanged successfully during workshop visits, which was done with my It never happened, since the 40000 inspection was not done (pre-owner) and I had the 60000s done at a kfz-meisterbetrieb and not in a vw-contract workshop, which however had not been informed about it. now I stand there with the costs of 5000-6000euro and am stunned, since audio refuses to pay something (since not sheepbook maintained), although no kfz-meisterbetrieb could have known of the error. someone has the same fate or a success before I am very grateful for the exchange of experience!!
