Problems with Rochester Quadrajet

Hello friends of the well-kept fuel destruction After a rather puncture-free last season, I got caught again. A good 2 weeks ago I was so kind and donated a new carburetor to my Cadillac. As far as everything was good (workshop master said: dat ding ham wa put on it, keys run around and the car is running). However, I noticed that at high speed the engine almost went out. If you let it come down a little bit from the speed again, everything was perfect. low touring cruising went problem-free, does not give gas up to the high speed range. On the side of the workshop there is no intress to look at the vehicle again. Now I have the question it could be a setting thing? That it at high speed (almost out) or could have something to do with the spraying. (Wherewith at first sight the nozzles of old carburetor and new look identical. Petrol pump is also everything in order. ( Carburetor should according to Rockauto the suitable be) Remote diagnoses are difficult i know, but maybe it could help me contain the causes more. With friendly V8 roaring greetings Chris Cadillac
