Redesign and problems with guarantee

Hello. Now that I have been reading the posts in the forum every day for more than a year, I would like to introduce myself today and look for your advice at the same time: In January 2015 I fulfilled my dream and bought a 2009 Phaeton 3.0 TDI used at VW: almost 80 TKM, very well equipped with a former list price of approx. 95.000 € I enjoy basically every short as long ride in my thickness. The problems occurring at the beginning were eliminated within the scope of the dealer guarantee (St and heating defective, wire harness trunk replaced, both doors painted on the left for blistering, rear light replaced). As far as so good, otherwise only pleasure driving. However: When buying my Phaeton I was promised an extendable Phaeton function guarantee. However, I have not received this until today. To shorten: It turned out that the VW seller submitted the application for the Phaeton function guarantee 13 days too late. There is this guarantee only up to a certain amount. In the meantime, I was offered a Perfect Car Pro warranty, which is known to be much worse than the Phaeton feature warranty, especially if you have exceeded the 100 TKM limit. The friendly one now makes the commitment to cover all the difference costs for repairs that would be covered by the Phaeton warranty, but not by the Perfect Car Pro warranty. The latter should now give me 952,- € !!! cost and at the same time I hear that the friendly one has economic problems and possibly even the insolvency threatens. This would probably not be worth his commitment for the cost assumption of the difference costs. I drive my fat so gladly… but I am not sure whether I should take the cost risk or it is better to reject it. Now the oil service is due and for a few days sporadically the engine malfunction light lights up (but not constantly and even without the hint So far, I don’t notice any fault during the ride. But I don’t have the guarantee in my pocket yet and I haven’t been to the workshop yet to have the error read out. Distinctive situation…
