Moin-Moin, I have recently been driving an S60 T5, BJ 2001. Sporadically he showed me an ABS error after starting, so I decided to expand the ABS control unit (which was relatively easy), open it (which was the worst) and solder the pins. I was not so satisfied with the final result, on the one hand optically and on the other hand also technical, because the error was thrown again. In the bay I have then cheaply a ”functional” device with the same part number g The battery-clamping procedure has been adhered to (5min.). Now I have a ”DSTC-maintenance required” error in the BC. After extensive research I could unfortunately not find a 100% answer to the following question: If an ABS-control unit is replaced and a foreign but suitable device is installed, does this have to be learned or registered at :-)? ABS works with the new unit without problems. (Let’s assume from this, since ss the Stg. works and was deregistered to the old Fzg.) I would be very happy about answers and wish you a happy new year! Greetings, Andre
