Hello. Hope I’m not quite wrong here in the forum with my question… I have a Ford F350 built in 1988, which unfortunately starts rusting on the disc frame. Now I wanted to cut out the windshield when it gets warmer again, to become the rust master. However, the disc can very easily break – is like a lottery game. Now the question: I have insured the F350 via OCC with among others partial cascade. In the “insurance description” is also written inside that G What is it like when I cut out the disc? Does the insurance then pay a new disc or what can I generally understand by breaking glass? In the case of rockfalls or something like that, it is clear that the insurance pays, but here I lay my own hand on… I have already informed myself at a company – a new disc would cost just under €500. But could also get a used one from a butcher for €100. If you have something like this about the verse of course, would I rather install a new disk… Does anyone know about the subject of you? I don’t want anything to do with insurance fraud or anything like that.
