After a car crash, does the engine hurt?

This question concerns me at the moment, because on my route almost every day there are collisions. Regularly, in the 70 zone, mostly unbraked before the traffic light, crashes into the front man (SR, inaccuracy or why always). I know that the smart has a crash box at the back, but could it absorb so much energy in an emergency (in case of a crash of 50-70km/h) that the engine does not suffer any damage? I would be afraid that the oil/gas pipeline will be damaged and a fire will occur. And what about the driver? Do safety belts and seat belts offer enough protection or do I have to expect injuries at such a speed? Thank you!
