Hello, I would like to buy a “new” (used) car. It should be an SUV / compact SUV and above all reliable, and must have a trailer load of at least 1800 kg. Now I am particularly uncertain about the current diesel topic whether it should become a gasoline, diesel or perhaps even converted to gas petrol… Because I do not want to have unnecessary high fuel costs. To my driving profile: I drive 18 km to work daily (one way), additionally a few short hours during the day ken in the city but also over land, sometimes sometimes 15 to 25 km, and about every one to 2 months around 60 km. In the year I come on about 18000 km, maybe also more. And I move at least 2 times a week a trailer, approx. 1100 kg, 1x only about 2 km a way and regularly also continue, so 15 to 40 km. Besides, I like to drive a little more briskly If I charge for petrol and diesel is worth a diesel for me. But I am not sure if I do not have too much short distance for What about Euro 6 diesels? E.g. a Mazda CX 5 or supposedly economical gasoline engines, like the Ford Kuga 1.6 Ecoboost? I was told that the Kuga could be converted to gas without any problems. That would be an alternative if it consumes too much fuel… So, what would you advise me to do? I look forward to your answers.
