Combined purchase

Hello, for some time now I have been researching relatively unplanned wolf – again and again I have come across this forum and had the impression that here can be collected fast and pragmatically competent opinions. So now I am logged in and hope for your help. Brief history: I drive a Kia Ceed 1.6 CVVT, built in 2007. Now we will be parents for the first time this year and after I had HU/AU and inspection done in January, I thought to myself, that now – 8 years old and only 72,000 kilometers on it – the right time is to leave the car and buy a new one, which offers more space – it should be a station wagon. Kombi we just like better and “only” for a child is a van maybe also a bit exaggerated. And quite cheap are S-Max, Carens and Co. also not. So I imagine that I give my old one in payment and finance the rest of the purchase over 3 or 4 years. By nature I have a certain miserliness. for consumer goods like cars – it should be as great as possible, but not too much cost 🙂 I would like a 5-year-touring quite excellent, but I am too expensive. Also needed – I don’t want to buy an old car, so I have defined for myself max. 2 years old and max. 25,000 kilometers on it. However, this actually only applies to more expensive brands like Passat, BMW etc. Currently I have an offer for a Kia Ceed SW in the Dream Team variant, the 1.6 petrol as daily registration. If I like optically very well, offers a great price-performance ratio. Additional payment would still be at 13,000 euros. Who knows the equipment and can say if that is good? According to mobile.de I will rarely drive cheaper. Alternatives: Ford Focus Tournament? Opel Astra Sports Tourer? Here I have the impression that these are also very valuable cars, which possibly also give a better driving feeling, but on the one hand offer less space in the trunk and on the other hand already a corner more k Other alternatives? Passat and Octavia? Yes, great driving feeling and more space than in Ceed SW, but even annual cars cost a good bar more. In the same price segment is then again the slightly larger Hyundai i40 than daily registration… Consideration: I buy the Ceed, after 3 years it is fully paid. Or I invest more in a more expensive but more value-stable car, the first 3 years my expenses are equal high (payment of old cars plus monthly rates), afterwards hot Then pay it final rate and drive or return car and take difference value as a down payment for the next car (or of course continue to finance it).Further consideration: what if, for example, the next child comes after 1.5 – 2 years? Is the Ceed still comfortable in terms of space or do I regret it then? In summary: A lot of thought, but not yet structured… Maybe I can get some helpful tips here? Thanks for reading and maybe also tips give!
