Crack in the turbocharger housing … what now?

I don’t know if it’s already caught one or the other, but my turbocharger has a crack (see Topic *g*). Now the question is how to counter the problem most usefully. The engine (180 HP Quattro) has now dropped 142 TKM … – is it worth welding a small crack ? (can’t recognize exactly yet ?) How big is that) and if welding then also immediately let the loader general overtake? So a repair costs how much and where can one do this best ? – if above should not be feasible because cost-benefits are not in proportion .. what then ? “Only” exchange against serial turbo ? Cost ? Other “larger” Turbo installation / Tuning at 140TKM still useful ? Cost ? – what else ? Would you like to hear your opinion about it. Greeting Jens
