Hello UP driver, I’ve had an UP for 4 weeks, built in 2012. At the handover the footroom on the driver’s side was wet – I thought of the well-known problem “clogged processes in the water box” and didn’t think much about it. Now that it’s been dripping again and again in the last days and the footroom was always wet then, I looked where the water comes from. With some research I came up with the fact that it runs down at the driver’s side door seal – and from at the top. Once again, the panoramic roof, great – I thought. I looked a little bit further. I carefully pushed the seal between the roof channel and the panoramic roof blind to the side and I was scared for the first time. Apparently, the roof in the edge of the roof (“rain channel” from almost at the front of the windshield to the height of the panoramic roof. So really ripped up on the whole length with about 1mm gap. Whether the crack in the sheet metal (looks like this) or in a thin seal The car seems to be accident-free. Good 5 years old and 70tkm. I’ll get some pictures afterwards. I’m getting the crisis. My Lupo is 19 years old and has 255tkm on the hump and has never had problems with the freezing oil tanks except for the construction fault. Greetings, Siggi
