Hello everyone. I’m Mark, 21 years old and I’m currently driving a 2003 Saab 9-3 1.8t. In me, the ideas about buying a car in the next few months are just sprumbling. And somehow, after I’ve set myself almost 100% on a BMW E60, I came across Laguna Coupé. So you see, I’m definitely not set on a car brand (would be way too boring). I had almost no contact with Renault so far, except in a year as Pizz abote in the Twingo 1. I always found the Laguna Coupé pretty, but now I have also looked for it more actively. Unfortunately, the limousine disqualifies the rear lights, the combi the fact that it is a combi With the engine I have already pretty much driven on the 2.0 turbo fuel with 204 hp. I drive about 15,000-20,000 km a year, mostly rural road and mostly very predictive. With fuel monitor I have checked the engine of course before and am still etw a shock that the lowest average consumption is 8,39 litres, the overall average is just below 10. I drive my significantly older, similarly heavy Saab with 2l turbo and 150 hp with an average of 7.5 litres. Is the Laguna with this engine really such a booze or do Laguna owners generally very inefficient? As far as reliability is concerned, one reads quite positive reports about this motorization. What I read in the ADAC car database. have: The limousine (from 2007) is supposed to cost 135 euros per year (so I know it from my Saab with 2l displacement), the coupé (from 2008) on the other hand 188 euros. Is this due to a tax reform during this period or is it just a mistake? Then the coupé is 4.5 cm flatter than the limousine. Is the seat position correspondingly lower or is it just as “high” as in the limousine? (I know, stupid question. I would also like to try that myself, but unfortunately you can find it a coupé in the immediate vicinity) Finally, on my initial question: Is it at all possible to buy a clever coupé as a 2l turbo with a budget of around 6,000 euros? At 500 euros it should not fail in the end, but 7,000 euros I definitely do not want to spend. The abundance of offers in this price range is very small and it would certainly also be on my negotiating skill, which I claim to have. But what is your general recommendation in this price range? Does the experience show that you can make a good purchase for this or are the copies not recommended in principle? I thank you already in advance!
