Good day, I have been driving a Cupra Formentor 2.0 TDI 4Drive since June 2022 and I am really excited about this vehicle. However, something happened to me now that leaves me at a loss. I had parked and locked the vehicle quite normally. When I came back, I opened the rear door on the passenger side to stow the shopping in the back seat. at that moment a deafening vibration noise sounded louder than any alarm system. The engine was off and the entire car was out. The rear part of the vehicle vibrated and produced such a noise that drew the attention of the entire environment. Nothing could stop this process, neither locking the vehicle, nor turning on and off the engine. The vehicle was also able to drive, but the noise in the interior was so strong that it could hardly be endured. After felt 15 minutes I did not know anything else to help and wanted to call the ADAC. While waiting here in the waiting loop for connection , the whole thing suddenly stopped and as inexplicable as it had begun again. And hasn’t occurred again since then. Does anyone have an idea what the trigger might be or what it might have been about? I am grateful for every info.
