Original rim or third party – what’s better?

Hello everybody, I’m new here in the forum. After having driven around the last few years primarily at zroadster, I had to exchange my BMW Z4 for a Mercedes GLC due to family growth two months ago. Now I’m currently looking for winter tyres and would have a general question: I hear from many people that they would only buy original rims of the manufacturer. Basically, this doesn’t sound wrong, but they often seem to me a little too bad. What does it actually say against third-party rims? And are there third-party providers with a good price-performance, which can be bought without hesitation? OZ and BBS are known to me and I would not have any doubts about the quality, but the price is usually very high. How are providers like AEZ, Alutec, Uniwheels, Rial or MAM to estimate? Do you get good quality for the money or have to be afraid that the rims at h Is there any speed or full braking around the ears? Thank you very much, Martin.
