Problem with vehicle purchase overseas

Good evening together. After a long search I finally discovered the right car in Canada. For a long time I have been in contact with a company which handles imports from Canada and the USA and a person on site has checked the vehicle. After research on the net and from our conversations the boss seems to be competent, sympathetic and serious. I immediately wrote to him when I discovered the car, since other vehicles I had favored partly in I have the carproof (Canadian carfax) and the warranty history. The car seems to be tip top. Now to my actual question. He wanted to make a deposit from me so that he would make a deposit in Canada (seller there is a carhouse) so that the car is not gone. Said. The next day he then asked me to pay the full purchase amount on to transfer his account in Canada, because after 7 working days the deposit would expire at the car dealership there, unless the seller received the full amount. About his deposit there I have a receipt both from the car dealership as well as his receipt. So it has been made. The inserate of the vehicle has been deleted from the dealer’s homepage and at autotrader it is written that it has been sold. So that’s all actually happened. However, I have great skepticism and belly pain To transfer the full amount to Canada without holding anything in hand. Say, no invoice or purchase contract. I have heard the complete advance payment is not unusual, but for me as a businessman it is unimaginable to send such a sum simply with blind trust abroad. How do you see the matter? Thank you!
