Hello dear US-Car Cumunity! I have a few questions about my escort and its lighting at the front… : I was already asked when I introduced myself here (Sig. below) the question whether the escort I drive does not have interval blinker. Now I haven’t bothered about it for a long time until I was in the USA this year and could see a few escorts. There are however 2 model versions, once mine, with the white “backward driving lights” seperately under the Bre The front lights and then the facelift (from model 99 or so…) where the white tail lights are integrated into the brake lights. Example picture Now I saw the facelift in the USA and the one flashed with the “inside flasher” and the “outside flasher” at the same time. Small explanation at the picture Then I saw the old model (unfortunately only from behind and then the side turning!) and this one flashed as I looked in alternating front and back. If you see a car from the side, b so I think that’s a good hint that he probably has the interval flasher… There are also just zero videos or info that I could find so far… So now to the questions So 1. : Is an interval flasher allowed in Germany at all? 2.: Can a loan in terms of electronics / cabling easily change something? With my car you can see well where cables have been cut and by such blue insulation plastics ile (sry knows the name grad net) has been relegated. It’s all relatively free. Example picture 3.: I was hoping to leave the standlight as it is now and only activate the blinker function in my “outside flasher”. Because I would have a bad feeling driving around with the nevertheless very conspicuous standlight so. It’s just enough for me outside, as it is now. Not that I get problems/ears with clearly bright orange standlights… What does i say? Is it easier than it looks, or should I just leave it?! I thank you for every comment / tip! Greeting from the TX!
