Hello, unfortunately I have had a bit of bad luck. Dec 2016 bought an Octavia 1Z Kombi 1.8 TSI with 100,000 KM for 7000 € (had a paint damage, therefore somewhat cheaper,) after 22,000 KM skipped the steering chain in September – all 4 valves have mounted, engine damage. (had reported) Now I am looking for a new Kombi, because we can not get far with our Meriva B for a long time, because the place is not enough. We have 2 dogs and in 2-3 weeks comes also the first Nac In addition, it has only 101 hp and is empty already quite tough here on the hilly country roads – slightly uphill runs the 80-120 kmh acceleration towards infinite.. Key data of the search: Budget: Almost 6-7 thousand euros I would have available now in cash, the rest I would have to finance, absolute limit I see there at 15,000 euros, so altogether 21-22 tsd. Euro – which I do not want to excite. This is a rather stupid price region, as I fixed Used Mercedes E- or C-Class T-models with under 100,000 can be found here or also daily registrations/new cars in the Astra/Focus Kombi class with several years new car warranty. So, what do? Ideas? Would you rather take a used (and this time checkbook maintained) around 100,000? In itself I was very happy with the Octavia, really stupid.
