Hello, how fast is the 2.4 with 140 hp at 2500 engine revolutions in 5th gear (with manual gearbox)? The question is that the maximum torque of 220 Nm is 3750 revolutions, see: https://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/…/ Now I have read in a forum that a petrol engine runs most efficiently if it has about 2/3 of the engine speed of the maximum torque. (At this point: Can someone confirm this?) For the selection of the right engine it would be interesting to t, whether the V70 with 140 hp at 2500 rpm has about my cruising speed.
