Speed sensor Renault Kangoo Express D55: where is it located?

One of my colleagues recently bought a Renault Kangoo Express D55 (first series, 1.9 liters diesel without turbocharger). It’s the same thing that I’ve already had with my Opel Tigra: after about a quarter of an hour of operation, the speedometer starts to spin (the needle goes up and down), and then stops working. The control unit switches to recovery and the car jerks and twitches like a buck. Of course, it’s the speedometer. The new part is already ordered, will be there within a few days. Can someone tell me where this sensor is installed? I haven’t seen the car yet, suspect that it is somewhere on the gearbox. With my Opel it is at the gearbox, above, so to say on the side of the spray wall. If someone knows this engine it would be very nice to get a hint. I thank you in advance for the comments!
