Hello together, changed the starter on my Escort 1.8 TD year 1995 today, since the old one was defective… Now I have an electrical problem…If my friend wants to give me starter help directly violent flashes on his battery…Connections on the starter controlled, everything in order (Zündplus to terminal 50,Duration plus to terminal 30 at starter)..Actual cable on the battery off and bridged, no problem. Could it be that I have somewhere n short in the cable harness ?? Become now no d.H. Resistance measurement from the permanent plus starter cable to mass (battery of course disconnected). If I get passage and resistance then theoretically n would have to be short there or?
